Overview

Switch On Reading and Writing:

https://educationendowmentfoundation.org.uk/projects-and-evaluation/projects/switch-on-reading/

Switch-on is an effective, evidenced-based literacy intervention based on rigorous, ongoing academic research, that has a positive effect on their life chances by enabling struggling readers and writers to achieve accelerated progress.

This is a two day course: one day designated for reading, one day for writing.  Refreshments and lunch are included as well as the file - worth £45 to support the course.

NB:  It is possible to do Switch-on Reading only (£190).  However, it is necessary to do Switch-on Reading to fully access Switch-on writing.

If 2 staff members attend a discount of £100 will be applied.  Contact us for further discount details if more than 2 staff members wish to attend.

Switch-on reading books to support the course are an essential requirement in the implementation of Switch-on and will need to be ordered by the schools - details will be given on the course.

Books can be purchased separately from Gemma Books in Nottingham.
