A taster opportunity to walk through the Education Endowment Foundation Guidance reports and begin to explore the implications for teaching and learning in school. The guidance reports contain clear and actionable recommendations for teachers on a range of high-priority issues, based on the best available evidence.
What you will learn
You will leave with an overview of the key recommendations from the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Literacy Guidance Reports from the Education Endowment Foundation. You will also receive information about upcoming courses to help support you translate this evidence into your own practice.
You will be given copies of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Literacy Guidance Reports.

Literacy Leads – reading and writing, Research Leads, All interested Teachers and Leaders.
About your course leader
Steve is in his 11th year as Headteacher and his 25th in teaching! He is also a Local Leader in Education (LLE).
Research Lead at the Manchester Hub. Sarah is in her 11th year of teaching. She has been an Evidence Lead in Education for the Aspirer Research School for over a year and is also the Y3/4 Middle Leader and the Literacy Co-ordinator.
